My therapies all incorporate strategies and practices that will help you make the Shifts needed for positive Change to take place.
I invite you to flex your perspective of the world and how you fit in. Give yourself the gift of being able to understand others' beliefs, intentions, and emotions, so you can become the person you want to be. I named this important skill, FLEX PERSPECTIVE.
Whether Individual, Couples or Bibliotherapy, Flex Perception is at the core of all my therapies. Being open to understanding perspectives that differ from your own is not a new concept. It's also known as 'Perspective Taking' and 'Theory of Mind'. The ability to understand others' beliefs, intentions and emotions is related to, but not to be confused with empathy where you feel what others feel. In Flex Perception you need not agree, or feel what they feel, you just need to understand. In my professional opinion, it's this understanding that makes therapy work!

Individual Therapy: Old beliefs that may no longer serve will be identified. Using powerful strategies such as Reframing, Parts and more, we will practice Flex Perspective and create new beliefs that are beneficial now. Making Change happen!
Couples Therapy: Couples are taught to be Loving Communicators all the while practicing Flex Perspective strategies. Enabling Change to happen!
Bibliotherapy Group: Using the power of literature as a guide to practice Flex Perspective, we learn to view life through different lenses as we read and hear from others their interpretations. Allowing Change to happen!
